Kick Sync Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 August 2026. This policy describes data processing through Kick Sync (com.kick_sync.app).

2. Data processed
Depending on the features used, data may include Firebase UID, email, username and sign-in provider data; age (18–100), gender, height, weight, country, time zone and age band; valid workout and fitness data; raw BIN/CSV files for valid workouts with metadata/hashes; cloud/sharing preferences; and technical data required by Firebase services.
3. Non-workout session filter
An activity is stored as a workout only when it simultaneously contains at least 3 kicks, at least one ball-speed event >10 km/h, and at least 1 sprint. Activities separated by more than 20 minutes are evaluated separately. Technical, standby or accidental sessions with no qualifying activity are discarded and are not stored in history, public leaderboards or cloud workout backups.
4. Purposes
Data is used to manage the account, associate archives with the correct user, calculate and display sports statistics, sync/back up/restore valid workouts, protect the service, and provide support. Global Leaderboard participation is optional and revocable.
5. Cloud and raw files
When signed in with cloud sync enabled, valid workout statistics/metadata may be stored in Cloud Firestore and raw BIN/CSV files may be copied to Firebase Cloud Storage for backup and restoration. Cloud paths are tied to the user UID.
6. Global Leaderboard
Participation is off by default. If enabled, username, age band, gender category, country and leaderboard statistics may be visible to other users. Email, authentication data, exact age, height, weight, BIN/CSV files and private sessions are not public. Participation can be revoked; username moderation, reporting and hiding are available.
7. Android permissions
Android 12+ uses BLUETOOTH_SCAN/CONNECT for the sensor. BLE scanning is not used to derive physical location. ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION is limited to legacy Android versions up to API 30 for BLE scanning. Android 13+ may request notifications for the session foreground service.
8. Providers
Google Firebase services include Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage for Firebase and Cloud Functions. Firebase Analytics is not included in the v10.3.6 baseline. We do not sell personal or fitness data.
9. Retention and deletion
Cloud data is kept while the account remains active or until deletion, except where a legitimate legal or security retention applies. Deletion is available in-app and through the web deletion resource.

11. Minimum age
The public release is intended only for users aged 18 or older.
12. Sports estimates
Kick Sync metrics are sports/informational estimates and are not medical measurements or diagnoses.
13. Independence
Kick Sync is independent and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by adidas or Google.
